Funkadelic a Bit of EverythingFunkadelic is a sporadic feature for the most talented and lovely literature artists on DeviantART; it is hosted by ivorysinkshore. Today's feature includes two mini-interviews, shoutouts to fifteen incredible people, and a mass feature of topnotch art.
The first interview shall start off Funkadelic! I have interviewed the lovely marlboroblacks. Kim has an insanely unique talent with poetry and prose—everything she writes is nothing short of exceptional.
Have you ever created your own theories? If so, what were they? If not, what is your favorite theory?
I don't think so, not ones that would make sense put into words anyway. I'm absolutely fascinated by theories on the soul such as monism vs dualism though
What do you wish to accomplish in life?
I just want to be able to provide for my mom, th
Funkadelic - the ShoutoutsRecently, there have been people who have been outstandingly kind -- either to me or the community, and I wish to highlight them here.
imaginative-lioness -- Okay, maybe not so recent, but she deserves a shoutout! Her Literature Roadtrips are so carefully put together, and the feedback she gives is always so kind and helpful. I thank her so much for all the time and dedication she has put forth in her Roadtrips. She also has a group LiteratureRoadtrip and you should all check it out!
anobrain -- Ella is such a kind and lovely person. I'd like to say that we've become good friends, and her kindness never ceases to amaze me. She recently read my recent poem, a collaboration piece with marlboroblacks, and uploaded it to soundcloud. You can read it here. https://soundcloud.com/ellathepirate/moor-by-ssolaris-and Thank you so much, Ella!

My deviantART StoryI actually first joined this site on the month of October in the year 2010. My first account has not been deactivated, but I used it, for the most part, for a good year and a half. An ex-friend of mine showed me this site, and I joined. I often forgot about the account in the beginning, but once I remembered I'd post every day after I got home from school. I didn't know the forums existed, and it didn't really know there was a community.
Around March of 2012, I started a new account telestlees, which as you can see is deactivated. I deactivated it because I wanted to start fresh, so in July of 2012 I created this account—my username was originally slowslicksnails.
Since then, I have received two DD features, five or so DLD features, and many features by fellow dA users and friends. So many of you have inspired me over the years: chromeantennae, introverted-ghost, UnspecifiedUnknown, anobrain, consolecadet, antonfrost, ambulances, ghostinafog, fake-theory, Is-lnds
Spam these wonderful people with loveAll of these people are extremely talented and have been very kind to me -
Nullibicity Kelsi is one of the kindest people I know! She's become one of my really good friends, and she has such a heart that is so big that everyone would love to live in. Her poetry is a gem, too - it's beautifully written and it can be relatable. Her concepts are fresh and lovely.
chromeantennae He's one of the sweetest people I've ever met on this site. I don't know how he has the time to support everyone with kindness, but he still does which amazes me. His poetry can be very contemplative at times and the meaning is always strong.
FuzzyHoser she's a very helpful and kind person. her advice is really good and her poetry is even better. it has this element of wisdom to it and it also comes off in a way that you'd feel like you experienced it, too.
ithaswhatitisnt She's been so kind to me for the past six months or so. She's very generous and very supportive. Her poe
Everything is in here.First of all, I must apologize on my poor behavior earlier for the journal I posted in regards to publication. I was really excited at the time and didn't think of how selfish and rude I was acting so I really do apologize. Most importantly, I must apologize for the lack of "thank-you's" for favorites, comments, critiques, tags, or watchers...I really cannot express my gratitude well enough for all the support everyone gives to me. So let me thank you now, if that's okay.
Here are a handful of poems that I found to be so phenomenal and I suggest you all to check them out:
I am also planning on posting a lot of poems on my wall (in my closet...not on social media websites) and please let me know if you're okay with it.
I think you're rad. 1) Nullibicity is a kind-hearted individual who writes astounding poetry that will leave you breathless. Perfection is definitely an understatement for her wonderful, beautiful, and metaphoric poetry.
2) fervvent is the type of poet who could effortlessly make you feel the emotions from the poetry while it remaining beautifully put. Her style sucks you in, in the way you never want to stop reading.
3) glossolalias has such a captivating and innovating style that you will love. He writes in a way that is bold and something you would never think of (but secretly wish you did).
4) Hfeather53 is such a sweetheart who writes the most brilliant poetry. Her style is tasteful and definitely makes you crave for more.
Top Ten Puns1) Where do astronauts hang out?
The space bar...
2) Atheists don't solve exponential equations because they don't believe in higher powers.
3) Einstein developed a theory about space, and it was about time too.
4) If you don't pay your exorcist you get repossessed.
5) Back in the days when the guillotine was first used, people wondered, "Is this what we may beheaded for in the future?"
6) How do you make holy water?
Boil the hell out of it!
7) What do you call a dinosaur with an extensive vocabulary?
8) I used to be a banker, but I lost interest.
9) Will you marry me = a marriage proposal.
Will, you, Mary, me? = a foursome inquiry.
10) I could not pull out of my parking space, so I used my back up plan.
I think you're rad (III)brain-tree is a phenomenal poet. His poetry is subtle remembrance of a band's (Failure) lyrics, that writes the best lyrics I've ever read. His understanding of language is remarkable, and he does an outstanding job of incorporating it into his poetry.
imaginative-lioness uses beautifully creative words in her poetry, slightly similar to littlemoonboots. Her poetry always has very vivid imagery that reminds me of sweet things - coffee, winter days, and Polaroids.
ithaswhatitisnt has a very unique style; it's mixed with contemporary and traditional styles of poetry. She always writes truthfully, and her poetry (and six word stories!) always stands out.
silklilies is a poet I've recently grew fond of (of her poetry). Her poetry is very poignant and beautifully crafted.

I spent the first few hours of my new year with literature and Pokemon X. We'll get to the literature later. Right now, I've been enjoying the latest entry in the Pokemon franchise. I don't know if I've gotten better, or the games have gotten easier, but I'm not having as much trouble catching the stupid things as I used to. Then again, it sure is nice of the developers to put someone near the beginning that gives you False Swipe
I've heard from Doc that he has to wear a brace on his arm for another month before he can start therapy. He is getting better, but it's slow going. Nothing I can do about it, though I'd least like to help keep him entertained while he's incapacitated. Hence a basket full of movies and stuff.
Last time we talked, I spent most of the conversation explaining dA to him Among some other Internet stuff. I'll probably end up linking this feature to him; I told him what I was working on and he was interested and that c

My (Belated) deviantART StoryWhere do I begin? I started dA in 2009, and switched accounts a few times until I ended up with Aerode here. And I have no intention of switching accounts anytime soon. I've made too many friends here. I'd like to thank ElektraStarstorm (MsDungeonX) for being my first good dA friend, and still friends present day. You're fantastic, and I'm honored to have made your acquaintance. I met Phoneix14 and TheGothicSongbird soon after, and with their encouragement, started a poetry group.
Since starting dA as Aerode in December of 2012, I immediately started writing very
wince-inducingamateur poems and some occasional prose, but I feel I've grown so much since then. And I've made some amazing lifetime friends along the way. The ones I'm really close to include:
AyeAye12 : He's an eccentric (in a good way!) person, but is filled to the brim with brilliant ideas, riveting stories, and the mind of a creative genius. I talk to him almost daily. You're
WayWords (2)Hello all, and welcome to the second edition of WayWords, where I, your gracious host, interviews a deviant about literature and themselves in hopes to create an inspiration for all you readers! As usual, I will be releasing a prompt given to me by the interviewed as an essence of even more inspiration for you Writer's Blocked readers who can't think of anything to write about. Now before I introduce our lucky deviant, a proper introduction should be made. I am your host, Eevee1999, and I am pleased to see you all here at LiteratureRoadtrip for the second edition of WayWords.
Now give it up for our guest, Miss Madeline Johnston, otherwise known as imaginative-lioness! Madeline here has been a deviant for only ten months (surprising, I know), yet that has not hindered her impact upon the literature community. In June, she created the Literature Roadtrip, where she showcased deviants and literature to the community. This sparked a sensation, and now, as of the time
Show love, everyone! It's a beautiful thing.Soooo, I have a journal idea I think everyone will love. I want people to comment on this journal with people they love! Pretty easy, right? Mention/tag (Whatever term you wanna use. ) people that you love for whatever reason! And if you'd like, add a small (Or large! ) blurb why! Here, I'll start!
WeirdAndLovely, because she's the most beautiful girl on the planet to me. She's smart, witty, charming, and I'm so glad she's my girlfriend. She's a brilliant artist and I love her so damn much.
SpriteBlayde, because Kelsy is my longest (and best) friend. She's been here for me through thick and thin, when so many people have come, gone, tried to come back and left again, she's been the constant for me for two years. And I couldn't be more grateful for that. She's my sister!
A-Lovely-Anxiety, because she's my favorite 49er. So brilliant, beautiful, intelligent, and a wonderful sister of mine. We'll always be southern 49ers

New Artist Highlight for June 7th, 2014Wilkommen, bienvenue, welcome! It's the next edition of the New Artist Highlight!
This time around, our lovely featured artist is the talented saltwaterlungs! With a knack for metaphors and a gift with words, this girl has me hooked, and I'm sure she'll hook you, too. So, my lovelies, shall we begin?
Why did you start writing?
My parents read to me from a young age, and I started writing shortly after. I never had a reason why I wanted to write, I just did. The reason I continue to write today is because of my teachers' and parents' encouragement and nourishing of this talent and ache I had.
What is your inspiration?
Inspiration comes from everywhere, and there is nothing more corny or true than that saying. I write about people I see, I write about my emotions, I write about friends, I write about completely made up scenarios. Short answer: everything.
What is your favorite piece in your gallery? And why?

My deviantART StoryHi everyone!
I joined deviantART on January 16th, 2012 at the insistence of my friends Amanda and Melissa, ElectricBreeze and violentfolder, who were then big Hetalia fangirls and posted all their fanfiction here. You might remember an earlier journal I posted of the exact conversation that led to me creating my account:
The first piece I ever posted to dA was a 10-minute play called The Angel Game. I received my first fav in something like 9 minutes, and I completely freaked out! It was a great moment for me.
I received my first Daily Deviation on January 27th, 2013. It was on a poem called "Golden Ink and Going Back" that I wasn't too proud of at the time. However, I literally screamed when I saw the DD, properly scaring my sister to death. I am still so thankful to MagicalJoey for suggesting and thorns for featuring.
My oldest and best friends on dA are certainly :d
Contest results!Hey, guys! So I've finally gotten around to choosing the winner of the Micro Music Contest.
It was one of the hardest things I've ever done. Seriously, I was amazed by just how incredible these entries were. I want to thank each and every one of you for participating, and please don't feel bad if you didn't win, because this was such a close race.
Without further ado, the winner of the contest is...
anobrain, with her deviation lines!
This poem wasn't particularly long, but I could tell that the time was used very carefully to construct a solid idea and image. Imagery's fantastic, by the way. I liked it quite a lot! Congratulations, anobrain! Expect your prizes soon!
It took me so long to choose the winner because I was so overwhelmed by how awesome these were. And honestly, I'm wishing that I allowed for three top places, but it's a little late for that. Instead, I'm going to feature all the entries here!
Sundae Treat- Sammur-amat's Sunday Feature #34PLEASE this feature and these wonderful works of art, thank you!
The amount of artistic talent here on dA has always amazed me, and I truly believe it is a privilege to be able to feature such amazing pieces as these. Therefore, without further ado, this Sunday's Specials!

Adjusting The Antennae (Ep. 10)Hello everyone! I’m so glad you all could make it to a very, VERY special 10th edition of ‘Adjusting The Antennae.' And if you’re wondering what makes this episode so special is because I have two special guests here with me today. One of them being the absolutely gorgeous and wonderful WeirdAndLovely and I will be introducing my second guest here in just a bit. I hope you are all enjoying your summer breaks, getting some good reading in as the weather heats up and overall, just been enjoying yourself. And now without further adieu, I’m your host, chromeantennae and before we get off into my second guest, I want to allow WeirdAndLovely to introduce herself to the people.

Obligatory 2013 JournalOverall, 2013 has been an amazing year. I became engaged, read more and more poetry, played more Zelda video games, I have been published for the first time, and became better at writing and reading poetry. This website is definitely a highlight of the year, too. I received about 6 or 7 DLD features and 2 DDs; what a year for honorary features! (Thank you all again for your support and love. ) It means the world to be to have received all the support I have been given throughout this year and all the kindness, too. I never expected so much. This year was definitely a surprise and a turn for the better. I have absolutely loved this year to its entirety.
How was 2013 for you? What would you say was the best thing that happened to you?
Also, here is a feature.
